Residential Projects

MB Project has been conceived upon the request of a professional couple that in its free time does triathlon, that is why they looked for a lot which enables them to play sports outdoors. The house is developed in a private corner lot. It is shifted to the west to contemplate the lagoon not only from the living-room, dining-room and kitchen but also from the bedrooms. Morphology of the house consists of two compact floors, where the social areas are located on the ground floor and bedrooms are located on the upper floor from which volumes are displaced to generate galleries. In another design operation, the services at the ground floor are rotated to generate more light and a clearer more clear entrance. The volumetric indoor/exterior interplay dematerializes towards the rear, thus solving view opening of the main areas to the lagoon, while a more closed south-oriented service area in the front offers privacy to the house. Sustainability of the house is achieved by means of implantation taking into account wind and sun orientations, natural light in all spaces, fresh and cross ventilation thanks to water mirrors, green terrace for isolation of the ground floor and rain water collection for irrigation.
